Reach Out Ranch
Penni Wood

I operate a small Western riding program in the beautiful Lost Pines area of Bastrop 5 miles from Bastrop State Park off of HWY 21. My students' ages have ranged from 6 to 60. I focus on safety, helmets are provided, and references are available.

I offer lessons for beginner riders using my lesson horse, Bertha. I have had her for 12 years and she is an American Quarter Horse. She is 20 years old and is very patient with beginners.

For intermediate and advanced riders, I take people out to an equestrian park located in between Austin and Bastrop.

I offer an Adult Western Horsemanship Program, which combines horsemanship and study skills to help children discover their strengths and abilities to improve their school performance.
